Hyundai Kona: Brake System / Vacuum Pump Repair procedures

Removal
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
2.
Check the safty after uplift the vehicle with lift.
3.
Remove the under cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Engine Room Under Cover")
4.
Disconnect the vacuum pump connector (A).

5.
Remove the fixing clip and then seperate the vacuum hose (A) from the vacuum pump.

6.
Loosen the mounting bolts and then remove the vacuum pump (A).
Tightening torque :
19.6 - 29.4 N.m (2.0 - 3.0 kgf.m, 14.4 - 21.6 lb-ft)

Installation
1.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
